Really loved this, this was the point where I first started understanding guitars a bit more. The feel of the guitar was great.
The neck pickup sounded amazing to me, wasn’t overly keen on the humbucker at the bridge or the middle pickup. The pickups were Humbucking Pickup (Bridge), 1 Texas Special™ Strat® Pickup (Middle), 1 Texas Special™ Strat® Pickup (Neck).
For me there was a major downfall with the guitar, the top E string and the B string just wouldn’t cut through at all. I tried heavier gauge strings, tried the pickups at various heights but nothing worked. I toyed with changing the pickups out but in the end I just wasn’t attached enough to the guitar to warrant it so I then traded the guitar in for a Gibson Melody Maker and Farida FTC-12.
